Tailoring InfoAnswer

You can set up InfoAnswer to suit your needs. InfoAnswer can answer calls even when your phone's already engaged. Instead of striking the busy tone, your callers will promptly hear your InfoAnswer message. InfoAnswer can also be set up to answer all your calls. You choose how long InfoAnswer waits before answering - anywhere from 0 to 9 rings. This gives you time to answer calls personally if you are available, but also means callers won't have to wait too long for attention if you can't make it to the phone.

Enhanced customer service

With InfoAnswer your callers get information - not the busy tone or the frustrating experience of an unanswered call. A large number of your callers will be seeking routine information (such as your business's opening hours, or what type of services you offer). Your InfoAnswer message can effectively answer many of those queries. And because you record your own message, InfoAnswer enables you to provide callers with a personalised and professional face for your business.

Be always available

Even if you're away from the office, callers can phone you on your normal business number and you'll be able to receive their calls.

You do this by using InfoAnswer's Transfer to Personal Assistance option. If callers want to talk to someone after listening to your message, they can simply press '0' and they'll be automatically transferred to another number for personal attention.

You can choose to transfer callers to a business or a residential number, a cellphone or even a pager.

Easy use

Recording your InfoAnswer message is easy. Just dial your InfoAnswer line from any touch-tone phone. Your message can be up to 10 minutes long, so it can be as brief or as detailed as you like - and you can update your message at any time.

Turning InfoAnswer on and off, or changing its set up is just as easy. All it takes is the touch of a few buttons on your phone.

And access to InfoAnswer is protected by your own PIN number, so there's no risk of anyone else changing your message.

Cost-effective

Because InfoAnswer is part of the Telecom Message Exchange, you don't need to buy any expensive equipment, making it a cost effective addition to your business. You simply pay a one-off installation charge and a monthly rental.

Please note that if you choose to use the Transfer to Personal Assistance option, you will be charged for the cost of the transferred call, at the applicable local, national, cellular or paging rates.
