Global ATM

Through the use of our own infrastructure and those of our international Network Partners, our Global ATM Service is available to a number of countries throughout the world.

Global ATM provides everything needed for a high speed, efficient interconnection between computers and LAN's for the transport of voice data or video at speeds of 64 kbit/s up to 642 Mbit/s. Global ATM consists of access circuits from your sites to the Global ATM network, and PVC's to transmit your data across the network.

Features of the Global ATM service are:

• A statistically-multiplexed protocol, making it ideal for supporting bursty traffic like IP.
• Global ATM supports traffic management features to ensure fairness amongst users and applications across the network.
• ATM supports multiple virtual connections across each physical access enabling connectivity to multiple sites.
• It complies with ANSI, ITU and ATM Forum Standards.
• Frame Relay/ATM interworking
