How eFax works

If you want to send a Word document or some other kind of file from a Windows application, simply select the eFax printer from within the application and follow the dialogue boxes.

For a straightforward fax message, open the eFax application directly to create and send a fax.

eFax sends your message as an email to the eFax network. On arrival, software sends it on to the recipient(s) as either a fax or email, depending on the details in your address book. eFax has loads of features that make your business communications faster and easier.

Who needs eFax?

eFax suits any business or person who regularly communicates by email and fax to a large database.

You can send information to a large number of recipients quickly and efficiently, without leaving your desk. eFax is just as handy when you want to send a fax to only one person - a couple of mouse clicks and it's done. eFax can work with other business systems to automate document delivery - for example, it can send remittance advice to direct creditors or automatically fax invoices. eFax doesn't tie up your phone lines like an ordinary fax machine - a server does all the time-and-line-consuming stuff.
