Standard usage charges - per participant location (excluding GST)

International Freephone

With International Freephone, the cost of joining an overseas participant to the conference will be billed directly to the conference convenor based on lcoation of the overseas participant and time of the call. The pricing indicated below includes the international call costs and audio conferencing charges. Prices exclude GST.

To access a Telecom Audio Conference from a country that does not have an international freephone number dial +64-83-083033. Please note that attendees will be charged the applicable international rate to New Zealand by their local supplier for the duration of the call and the convener will be charged the applicable Audio Conferencing standard rate for the time that the attendee is part of the conference.

Please note: Participants calling from mobile phones, payphones or direct from overseas, pay the applicable calling rates in addition to any Telecom Audio Conferencing charges.

Encore digital recording

CD - CD-recorded conferences are billed as an additional participant on the conference at the convenor's per minute rate and are eligible for peak versus off peak pricing.

Encore - Encore is also billed as an additional participant on the conference call, at the convenor's rate. There is an additional setup cost to have the recording loaded to and any customer requested scripting done for the server. There is also a charge for storage on remote server for post conference access.

Question and answer

Moderated Question and answer session is a flat rate billed on a per conference basis at $200 excluding GST.

Preset Audio Conferences

The convenor pays for all participants except those who join the Audio Conference themselves by dialling 083031. The charge is billed to the number assigned to the PIN. The phone used by the convenor to start the conference incurs an additional 'participant location' charge for the conference.

For example

An Auckland convenor (person who owns the PIN used for the meeting) requests parties in Wellington and Invercargill to quickly jump on a call to discuss project implications of a recent event. The convenor gives the other parties the PIN to use and depending on who should pay for the call, directs the participants to call into the conference via 083032 (each users pays their own participation) or 083033 (convenor pays for all).

The conference would be charged per minute, per participant at the $0.50 price.*
