What is my dial-in number?
Your dial-in number depends on the service you are using.
If you are joining a Reservationless PIN conference, your Convenor (or Leader) should have advised you to dial in on 083033 (Meet Me Collect, Convenor pays) or 083032 (Meet Me, User pays). It is the Convenor's responsibility to advise participants which dial in number they should be using.
If you are joining an Event Conference, dial 083035 and follow the instructions.
If you have any questions or problems dialling into your conference, dial 0800 65 65 77 to speak to the Helpdesk.
Who do I contact if I have a question about Audio Conferencing?
Please email or call the Audio Conferencing Helpdesk on 0800 65 65 77 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week). If you are a managed customer, please contact your account manager.
Does the Convenor need to be first on line?
No. Both the Convenor and the Participants can join at any time. However, if the Participants join before the Convenor joins the conference, they will be placed on hold until the Convenor arrives.
Are there any time limits on the duration of my Audio Conference?
No, there are no time limits. You may host an Audio Conference for as long as you need.
What do participants need to know to join an Audio Conference?
Participants typically need to know the correct dial in number and PIN number if using the Reservationless PIN conferencing service.
It is the Convenor's responsibility to advise participants of the correct dial in number for the conference.
If participants are joining an Event Conference, the dial in number is 083035.
Is there a cancellation fee?
No.
What is the difference between a Leader and a Convenor?
The Convenor is the person who arranges the call and the Leader is the person who leads it. Often they are the same, but in the case of an event conference, since the calls are generally higher profile and may have a unique speaker, generally the convenor arranges the call while the speaker or presenter serves as the leader.
