Optional services
Not all schools will require the wide range of services SchoolZone is able to provide. For this reason, there is a set of optional services outside the core package. This page describes each optional service and its fee structure.

Customised security
Customised security is designed to allow your school or SchoolZone community to define its own firewall rules for traffic between you and the Internet, or the rest of SchoolZone. Use this optional service if you are looking for greater security or more open access than that included in the core package.

Video Conferencing
The core package provides for up to 60 hours of video conferencing per month within the SchoolZone network. To use this service, you will need to purchase specialist video equipment at additional cost.
Secure remote access
Secure remote access enables teachers working from home to log on to the SchoolZone network. Access from a remote location is via a secure encrypted link.
As this table shows, pricing is based on the number of unique remote user logons required.
There is an additional one-off $200 (excl GST) charge to set-up remote access.
