Training

Virtual Education Network annual membership

Virtual Education Network (VEN) is SchoolZone's national governing body. VEN is responsible for defining and managing network policies and is independent of Telecom. To get SchoolZone, you must be a member of VEN, or join VEN when you order the service. VEN charges an annual membership fee of $50.

Video conferencing equipment

You will need to purchase or lease video conferencing equipment to use this SchoolZone feature. Equipment includes a TV screen, camera and video conferencing unit for each location. The total cost for these can range between $8,000 and $20,000 depending on the picture quality and functionality you require.
