- The New Zealand Securities Commission's report 'Corporate Governance in New Zealand Principles and Guidelines' (Securities Commission Principles and Guidelines)
- The Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) listing rules and ASX Corporate Governance Council Principles and Recommendations (ASX CGC Principles and Recommendations)
- The United States Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and consequential United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rules
- The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Corporate Governance Rules
