What is it?
Dual Number provides you with two phone numbers on a single access line - so you can reserve your second phone and phone number for selected people who need to contact you at any time.

- If you have Call Minder, Call Diversion or Do Not Disturb activated on your main number, friends and family can still contact you on your Dual Number
- Never miss faxes or have them corrupted - allocate one number for faxes and the other for phone calls
- No extra equipment is required all you need is your home phone
- Ideal for Home Businesses to split up personal and home business calls
How much does it cost?
- $2.55 a month (including GST) if your toll calls are billed to your Telecom account
- $4.04 a month (including GST) if your toll calls are billed to another toll provider
How does it work?
- Dual Number requires a touchtone phone and is available in most areas
- You cannot use both numbers at the same time (ie. send a fax and make a phone call)
- To enable Dual Number you need to apply for an additional phone number on your existing phone line which you can give to selected people
Things you should know
- Telecom requires 30 days notice of cancellation of this Smartphone service. This means the usual charges will continue to apply for 30 days after the date you cancel your service, even if it is disconnected within that period
- Please note that in some cases this service may not be available or is limited due to network constraints and incompatibility with other products and services
- You need to have a Telecom account to order Dual Number online
