InfoCall
What is it?
A separate number that can answer up to 200 calls at once with pre-recorded information about your business or products. No extra line is required. Spend less time answering frequently asked questions and more time adding value to your business. Your customers can press '0' at any time while listening to your message to be transferred to personal assistance.

Who pays for the call?
There are two options available.
InfoCall Direct
Callers dial the InfoCall number (0832XXXX) and hear a brief message advising them that they will be charged for the call and to check with the bill payer first before hearing the InfoCall message.
0800 InfoCall
Callers dial a toll-free number which is answered by an InfoCall mailbox. The owner of the 0800 InfoCall mailbox will be billed for the call.1

Transfer to Personal Assistance Charges
The owner of the InfoCall number pays for the transfer charges.4 Transfer charges are based on the distance between the caller and the number they have been transferred to.

Important to know
1 Customers must only access an 0800 InfoCall mailbox via the associated toll-free number.
2 Unless a customer-specific callplan has been loaded, in which case pricing will be determined by the rate per call type.
3 A Payphone Access Surcharge of 21.33 cents (excluding GST) per minute will be charged in addition to the normal call charge.
4 Standard pricing depends on whether the account is enrolled in either 'Business Traditional SB007' or 'Business Standard SB000' rates (please refer to Telecom list of charges 'Telephone - Call Tariffs' or speak to your Client Manager). Charging for the InfoCall mailbox will continue until the call is disconnected including the time the caller has spent on Transfer to Personal Assistance. Transfer to Personal Assistance charges are billed to the InfoCall 08322XXXX number.
