How do I get Fax Advantage?
Firstly, a dedicated Telecom Business Line for faxes is required. Sign up for Fax Advantage today.
The fax will get through
If faxes are an important part of your home business, Fax Advantage takes the worry and the uncertainty out of waiting for a fax. If for any reason someone sends you a fax and it can't get through to your machine, that fax will automatically divert to our Telecom Message Exchange.
You’ll get it when your machine comes free.
If the Message Exchange finds it can't forward the fax to you after a certain amount of time (that you define), you'll get a text alert. If the fax is urgent, you can dial in and retrieve it yourself. And we'll provide you with a confidential PIN to access your messages for extra security.
Best of all, Fax Advantage requires no special, expensive equipment.
Fax Advantage isn't just safe, it also offers you added reassurance in the event of a disaster. If for any reason you're not able to get your faxes, they can be recovered easily.
If you receive a lot of faxes, you can have one fax machine with FaxAdvantage to receive your faxes and then use another machine for sending.
How much does it cost?
To get Fax Advantage, there's a $35.00 (plus GST) installation fee and a standard rental of $10.50 (plus GST) per month, per fax machine.
When you send a fax, you pay a line charge for every connection. That charge is the rate you usually pay for local calls.
For national and international faxes, you pay the 30+1 rate, which means your minimum charge is 30 seconds (instead of the usual one minute minimum) and then you're charged by the second. If you receive a lot of short faxes, FaxAdvantage's 30+1 charges will certainly save you money.

What else you need to know …
- Fax Advantage is available in most areas.
- Telecom requires 30 days' notice of cancellation of this Smartphone service. This means the usual charges will continue to apply for 30 days after the date you cancel your service, even if it is disconnected within that period.
- Please note that in some cases this service may not be available or is limited due to network constraints and incompatibility with other products and services.
