A SIM makes life easy. Because your account information and contacts are stored on the SIM - not on your phone - you can swap your SIM between different XT mobile phones. Just pop your SIM into any Telecom mobile on the new XT Mobile Network and it's ready to go.
The price of a SIM is...
A SIM is included with your Postpaid plan when you sign up in-store, upgrade your mobile or purchase a new mobile online.
If you're on Prepaid you can buy a SIM for $29.95. The SIM card comes with $10 credit already loaded, and you will receive another $10 credit if you register your Prepaid number online.
By the way, just so you know...
You can store up to 500 different contacts on your SIM, but things like photos or music are stored on your phone's memory.
A new Telecom SIM cannot be inserted into a mobile phone on the existing CDMA network.
You can keep your SIM secure by creating a 4-digit PIN number. If you forget your PIN number, you can access your personal unblocking code (PUK code) by logging in to Your Telecom, or check your SIM card packaging.
