Call Diversion

With Call Diversion, you can forward your incoming calls to somewhere else when you can't answer them yourself.

You control whether calls go to a landline, another mobile phone or just to your voicemail - and you can change your diversion options whenever you need to.

How do I get Call Diversion?

Look for the 'Divert Calls' option (or something similar) under the 'Settings' or 'Profile' menu on your XT mobile.

Call Diversion options

We have four Call Diversion options on our XT Mobile Network, and it's easy and free to change between them whenever you want:

  • No answer - your mobile will ring for 10 to 30 seconds (you choose how long) before the call is diverted
  • Immediate - all calls are diverted straight away, and your mobile won't ring.  Great if you're in a movie or a meeting, on holiday, at a workshop - and text messages will still come through so you can stay in touch discreetly
  • Divert if busy - if you're already on a phone call, the new call will be forwarded straight away
  • Not reachable - of you have your phone switched off but you want it to go to another number rather than have it go to voicemail

The price of Call Diversion is....

If you set your phone to divert calls to another number (not your voicemail) then any call that is diverted will be charged at the standard rate. For example, if you divert calls to your landline at home, the cost to you would be the same as if you'd called home from your mobile yourself.

What else you should know...

Call Diversion isn't available on Prepaid mobile phones. Find out if we have a Pay monthly plan that's right for you.
