Caps
Talk for up to two hours to any New Zealand mobile or landline in New Zealand or Australia and you'll only pay up to $3.00 a call.
Extra broadband data
If you need more data on a Package you can change your monthly data allowance or simply pay for extra data at the rate associated with your plan.
Modems
If you're not a Telecom customer and you sign up to a new Telecom Home Package over 12 months or more, you'll get a free wireless modem to help you connect. For a limited time.
What else you should know...
A 30 day minimum payment applies to our Home Packages and calling plans. If you change or remove your plan or package within 30 days you will still be charged for the full month.

Broadband
Broadband is not available in all areas, factors such as distance from our equipment or the network's capacity, means we may be unable to deliver Telecom Broadband to a specific address.
National calling terms and conditions
Our Home Packages require you to have your broadband, landline and toll calling with Telecom. National Calling applies to direct dial voice calls from your home line to landlines in New Zealand, all calls are for up to 2 hours, after 2 hours you will be charged 24c per minute. Excludes calling cards 059, 0161, premium numbers (0900 and any International equivalent), calls made via Home 0800 or International 0800.
Mobile terms and conditions
Mobile calling applies to calls made to standard New Zealand mobiles and calls for up to 2 hours, after 2 hours you will be charged 0.39c per minute. Does not include calls to mobiles of overseas visitors roaming in New Zealand.

Home Phone services
Talk It Up Neighbouring Area and Talk It Up NZ and Overseas are not available on our new packages. Other Talk It Up products, My Favourites, Freedom or Smartphone services on your phone line will be moved across automatically to your new package.
Data allowance
Extra data is charged at $1.00 per GB on the 30GB and 50GB plans or 50c per GB on our 150GB and 500GB plans. Or, if you prefer you can choose to limit your speed once you reach your monthly allowance and you’ll never pay any extra for data.
Contract term
If you choose to sign up with Telecom Broadband for on a 12 month contract, you will receive a free wireless modem and a free standard connection. If your service is disconnected prior the completion of that minimum contract period, you will be charged an early termination fee of $199.
When you sign up with Telecom broadband on a No term contract, you will be charged the standard broadband connection fee of $99 and you will have to provide your own modem.
Installation and connection fees
A broadband wiring charge of $199 may apply if, for example, you have an alarm or more than 5 phone jack-points in use.
Charging for Telecom Broadband commences once service is connected to our network. A 30 day minimum payment applies to our Home Packages and calling plans. If you change or remove your plan or package within 30 days you will still be charged for the full month.
