You can save on your calls by signing up for an Anytime, a Total Home package, or Homeline, home phone plan and all your direct dial calling with Telecom.
Who called who?
With Call Track, everyone in the household who makes calls is given a personal PIN number, which they use every time they make a chargeable call (one outside your local calling area or to a mobile or 0900 number).
There are three ways you can organise Call Track:
- Standard Call Track: Each person can select a number from one to four digits for their Call Track code. You can have up to eight different Call Track codes for the household. The Call Track code will be listed on your phone bill together with any associated calls.
- Personal Call Track: Each person can assign a name to their code (eg. John, Kim, Mary). The name and Call Track code will be listed on your phone bill together with any associated calls.
- Private Call Track: Each person in your household has their own private four-digit PIN. This PIN will not appear with their name on your phone bill.
Then, every time someone makes a chargeable call:
- Dial the required telephone number
- Enter their Call Track code or PIN when asked
- The Call Track Code or PIN is quickly confirmed and the call goes through.
Call Track costs just $4.04 a month for up to four Call Track numbers or PINs or $8.08 a month (including GST) for five to eight Call Track numbers or PINs.
What else you need to know …
- Call Track requires a touchtone phone and is available in most areas.
- The person in whose name the Telecom account is held remains responsible for making sure all charges are paid.
- Call Track cannot be used for Operator Calls, calls to an 0800 Number, 0161 calls, and Voice Mail/Call Minder free mailbox access numbers.
- Telecom requires 30 days' notice of cancellation of this Smartphone service. This means the usual charges will continue to apply for 30 days after the date you cancel your service, even if it is disconnected within that period.
- Please note that in some cases this service may not be available or is limited due to network constraints and incompatibility with other products and services.
